Countryside Children's Academy opened in September 1993. It is a privately held child care center
which operates only one facility. Since its opening, CCA has strived to
provide exceptional care for its children. We are not a franchise or a
large corporation. We pride ourselves on providing a safe, fun filled,
and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow.
What makes us different from other child care centers
in Sterling, VA? We believe it's our well trained and experienced
staff. Our teachers have been with us for an average of 10 years,
which provides our children with a sense of security and safety. These
are essential conditions for their overall emotional, physical, and
academic growth. All of our lead teachers have a CDA and provide the
best developmentally appropriate curriculum
based on each child's individual needs and progress. You can be
confident that your child will get an excellent educational
experience and will be prepared to enter kindergarten.

| Our Mission
We at CCA are dedicated to providing
parents with a safe, loving, and intellectually stimulating place to
leave their children while they are at work. Our foremost priority is
to ensure that our children are in a happy and welcoming
environment. We encourage exploration and learning through various
hands on experiences and activities. We also strive to be open and
accessible to our parents. We welcome and encourage our parents to be
part of their child's experience at our center. Throughout the year
we provide opportunities for parents to meet with our teachers and with
other parents. Parents of infants through the age of two take home
daily reports. We also issue twice yearly progress reports and hold
parent-teacher conferences for all age groups. But our most anticipated
programs during the year are our Thanksgiving
Lunch in November, Holiday Pageant in December, and Graduation Day
barbecue in June, which are great opportunities for parents to mingle
with staff and meet their child's friends.
Finally, we take great pains to make sure all are welcome in our
center, regardless of ethnicity, race, or color. Our CCA family is a
tapestry woven by employees, families, and children of many different
backgrounds. All of us here are committed to providing your children
